A total of 756,600 passengers passed through the Kingdom airports during the period from May 31 - June 30, following the resumption of domestic flights, according to the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA).
GACA added in a statement that over 9,758 flights departed through domestic airports, noting it is coordinating with the airports, air carriers as well as civil aviation companies to fulfill the local demand.
More than 55,000 nationals have arrived to the Kingdom's airports on board of Saudi Arabian Airlines within the Kingdom's safe return plan for repatriating citizens, which began on April 5.
The domestic flights restarted on May 31, 2020, Argaam reported.
