AICC appoints new audit committee

Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co.’s (AICC) shareholders approved the formation of an audit committee for the 3-year term ending Feb. 26, 2023 and determining its tasks and remuneration, during the ordinary general meeting held on August 20.

The members are Abdulrahman Mohammad Al Ankari as chairman, and Abdul-Elah Mohammed and Mishari bin Salman as committee members.

Shareholders participated in the meeting through electronic voting starting Aug. 16, in line with the Capital Market Authority's (CMA) circular issued, on March 16, enabling shareholders to participate and vote on general meeting agenda items through Tadawulaty system in line with the government’s efforts to prevent spread of coronavirus.
