The program explained in a statement that the delay in registering the lands located within the geographical scope of the city, whether in its first or second phase, entails fines that may reach 100% of the fee value.

Failure by the landowner to register the land during the regulatory period in a particular city will result in a non-registration violation at 2.5% of the total value of the land, in addition to the original fee value after the issuance of the invoice.

A delay in payment will lead to a new violation of 2.5%, which requires the landowner to pay two violations, in addition to the fee bill with a total of up to 7.5% of the registered land value.

All owners of idle lands located within the geographical ranges of cities where the fees apply are required to register their lands through the electronic platform, including owners of idle lands developed in Makkah, Jeddah and Dammam, before end of the deadline in 90 days.

Fees exemption requires the registration of the land in the platform, and then the submission of justifications during the allowed period for objection after the issuance of the invoice.
