The GCC General Secretariat said no abnormal radiation levels have been detected in member states despite the recent developments in the region that took place earlier today, June 22.
In a statement, the council’s Emergency Management Center (EMC) confirmed all environmental and radiological readings remain within safe and technically-approved limits.
The GCC added it is working with relevant authorities of member states to closely monitor the situation through early warning and monitoring systems. Reports will be released periodically as updates become available.
