Solaiman Altwaijri, CEO of National Agricultural Development Co. (NADEC)
Solaiman Altwaijri, CEO of National Agricultural Development Co. (NADEC), said the Central and Eastern Provinces saw the highest demand for the company’s products during the third quarter of 2025, driving a solid increase in sales of the protein segment.
In an interview with Argaam, the CEO explained that the protein segment’s sales rose by about SAR 62.7 million (or 66%), compared to the same period last year. This positive performance is expected to hold ground through the fourth quarter of the year.
Altwaijri added that 88% of the company’s Q3 2025 revenues came from the dairy and food manufacturing segment. Another 5% was generated from the agriculture segment, and 7% from the protein segment.
According to the top executive, NADEC’s third-quarter operating profit improved by 0.4% year-on-year (YoY). However, the three-month net profit was hit by a change in the accounting treatment on investment in Arabian Mills Co.
Excluding this accounting impact, NADEC’s net profit would have climbed by 3.76% during the third quarter of the year.
He stressed that the company’s outlook for the remainder of 2025 aligns with its strategic and operational plans, noting that no significant events are anticipated during the near period.
