The RIPC expects the Osoul program to positively impact Riyadh’s urban landscape

The Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center (RIPC) launched the Osoul program, a transformative initiative aimed at developing and regulating the infrastructure ecosystem in the capital.

The program comprises nine initiatives focused on regulating the infrastructure sector, enhancing planning and execution efficiency, and improving the overall quality of works.

In a statement on X, the RIPC said the program is expected to positively impact Riyadh’s urban landscape, improve quality of life, and raise residents’ satisfaction across the city.

The center explained that the Osoul program initiatives are divided into core initiatives and enabling initiatives. The core initiatives include enhancing the readiness of residential master plans, establishing a comprehensive regulatory framework for the sector, and implementing a technical accreditation system for contractors.

The enabling initiatives include geospatial verification of assets, satellite-based compliance monitoring, the development of trenchless neighborhoods, preparation of a technical terminology guide, automation of incident-related procedures, and efforts to reduce environmental pollution.
