Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal Al-Ibrahim said that spending in the coming phase will be more prudent and increasingly focused on impact, based on the lessons learned over the past ten years, while continuing to spend on key priorities.

In statements to Asharq News on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, Al-Ibrahim added that opportunities continue to grow in number, noting that the next phase will witness many structural policies that will align with spending and support its continuity.

While Vision 2030 targets may extend to 2030, the broader objective is to build a strong and solid foundation to ensure the continued development of the Kingdom’s economy and society, making them more sustainable and resilient, he added.

The minister also pointed out that young people are Saudi Arabia’s greatest competitive advantage, emphasizing that continued investment in their capabilities is critically important.
