Middle East Healthcare Co. (MEAHCO) has completed 95 percent of construction work at its new Saudi German Hospital (SGH) branch in Hail, Alriyadh newspaper reported on Thursday, citing chief executive Mamoun Al-Najjar.
All hospital buildings have been finished and medical equipment has been installed, Al-Najjar explained. Work on surrounding infrastructure, roads and staff accommodation has also been completed.
The hospital operator will announce the launch date in the near future, after facilities are furnished, he added.
MEAHCO operates four SGH branches in Jeddah, Riyadh, Madinah and Aseer, according to the data available on Argaam.
In its initial public offering (IPO) prospectus, the company said it expected its capacity to reach 1,001 beds in 2016, following the commencement of operations at its Hail branch.
