A joint venture between Saudi Aramco and The Dow Chemical Company (Sadara Chemical Company), Sadara Project involves building an integrated chemicals complex, with an annual capacity of over three million tons of diversified chemicals and plastics.
The complex includes 26 manufacturing plants, 14 of which will produce products manufactured for the first time in Saudi Arabia, including polyurethane (isocyanate and polyols).
Project's total cost is SAR 75 billion.
