TASI falls 0.7% to 11,709 pts, turnover at SAR 4.6B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.7%, or 83 points, lower at 11,709 points today, March 19.
Total turnover reached about SAR 4.6 billion.
Market Index
Saudi Aramco fell 2% to SAR 25.05, reaching its lowest close since 2020. Approximately 22 million shares changed hands.
Sipchem, UCA, Gulf Union Alahlia and Bawan declined between 1% and 4% following the announcement of Q4 2024 results.
MEDGULF and ACIG were top decliners, falling 10% to close at SAR 20.70 and SAR 12.98, respectively, after disclosing their financial results.
eXtra closed at SAR 93.20 (-3%) after going ex-dividend.
Company Prices
On the other hand, Qassim Cement rose 3% to SAR 52.60. The company reported a higher Q4 2024 profit and announced a cash dividend.
Bahri gained 2% to close at SAR 30.70 following the announcement of cash dividends and a bonus issue.
