US oil rigs rise for first time in 6 weeks: Baker Hughes

US driller added oil rigs for the first time in six weeks, energy services firm Baker Hughes said in its closely followed report on Friday, Jan. 31.

The oil rig count increased by seven week-on-week to 479.

However, natural gas rigs decreased by one to 98.
