Al Rajhi Cap remains top Saudi brokerage firm in July 2019

Al Rajhi Capital remained the top brokerage firm operating in Saudi Arabia by market share (volume of transactions) in July 2019, data compiled by Argaam showed.

 

The brokerage accounted for 14.14 percent (SAR 18.43 billion) of total market transactions on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) last month.

 

Goldman Sachs Saudi Arabiacame in the second place, accounting for 10.38 percent (SAR 13.53 billion) of total trading last month.

 

NCB Capital took the third position, making up for SAR 13.40 billion of total trading last month.

 

AlJazira Capital followed, accounting for SAR 10.99 billion of total trading last month.

 

The combined trading value of brokerage firms dropped SAR 19.3 billion month-on-month to SAR 130.31 billion in July.

 

On the Nomu Parallel Market, Al Rajhi Capital topped the list of brokerages operating in the same month, brokering up to SAR 35 million of total transactions.

 

Meanwhile, the number of brokerages working on exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in July was flat month-on-month at 14 firms.

 

Falcom Financial Services was the leading firm for the month, accounting for 98.71 percent (SAR 447.3 million) of total trading.

 

Aljazira Capital took the lead for trading on sukuk and bonds with around SAR 978.99 million. NCB Capital came second with SAR 960.07 million worth of transactions.
