Arriyadh Development appoints Riyadh mayor as new chairman

Arriyadh Development Co. (ARDCO) appointed Prince Faisal bin Ayyaf, Mayor of Riyadh Region, as board member and chairman, replacing Tariq bin Abdul Aziz Al Faris, former mayor of Riyadh Region (independent member).

 

The new appointment comes into effect immediately, and Prince Faisal will serve as chairman for the remaining board term, the company said in a bourse filing.

 

ARDCO received a letter from the Saudi Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs on appointing Prince Faisal to the board.

 

Prince Faisal is a specialist in urban planning and management, holding a Master's degree from Harvard University in 2016.

 

He worked as urban consultant at the Royal Commission for Riyadh. He also worked as a design and urban consultant at Skidmore & Owings and Merrill Co. (SOM) in Chicago.
