Saudi Kayan completes maintenance at ethylene glycol, ethylene oxide units

Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Co. (Saudi Kayan) completed the 21-day scheduled maintenance of its ethylene glycol/ ethylene oxide plants, which started on February 1, 2020, it said in a bourse filing on Sunday.

 

Other plants depending on ethylene glycol and ethylene oxide also completed their periodic maintenance and improvements, the statement noted.

 

Last month, Saudi Kayan said it expected a financial impact of SAR 117 million on Q1 2020 financials based on the current average selling prices of these products.
