Walaa Insurance gets SAMA nod to offer protection, saving insurance

Walaa Cooperative Insurance Co. (Walaa Insurance) received approval of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) on Sunday to offer protection and saving insurance, it said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

The announcement will have no financial impact, it added.

 

Last month, Walaa Insurance announced that it received SAMA’s approval to renew its insurance license for 3 years starting Feb. 20, 2020, covering general and medical insurance activities.
