WHO praises Saudi Arabia’s coronavirus treatment scheme, urges countries to follow

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO) praised King Salman’s recent order to provide free treatment to residents, nationals, and visa violators infected with coronavirus.

 

“This is what Health For All means! Thank you so much King Salman for your leadership and commitment to ensure everyone has access to the health services needed to fight COVID19. I hope other countries will follow your lead! Solidarity,” Ghebreyesus said on his Twitter account.

On March 30, King Salman issued an order to provide free treatment to residents, nationals, and visa violators infected with coronavirus, Argaam reported.
