Fitaihi announces partial reopening of retail stores in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait

Fitaihi Holding Group announced today that it will partially reopen the retail stores of its 2 subsidiaries, Fitaihi Retail Co. and Luxury Goods Trading Co., in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

 

The company said in a bourse filing that the move came in response to the directives of the government to partially lift the Kingdom-wide curfew (except in Makkah) to contain the COVID-19 outbreak and allow the resumption of certain economic activities from 9am to 5pm for the period from April 29-May 13, 2020.

 

The retail outlets will operate in accordance with the government guidelines on public health and safety practices.

 

The company added it is difficult to determine the financial impact of the updated measures at present, adding any further developments will be announced in due course.
