Saudi Steel Pipe says facilities to operate at 30% capacity in Dammam Industrial City II

Saudi Steel Pipe Co.’s (SSP) facilities in Dammam Industrial City II will operate at 30% capacity until further notice, it said in a bourse filing on Sunday.

The step is in line with the government’s decision to apply additional measures to isolate the industrial city and prevent entries or exits to contain spread of COVID-19.

The company will announce any related developments in due course, the statement said, adding it is closely monitoring COVID-19 on a global level.

In April, SSP said production facilities were operating at a lower capacity amid the government’s precautionary measures.
