Saudi Arabia records 3,369 new COVID-19 cases on Monday

The total number of coronavirus cases in Saudi Arabia increased by 3,369 to 105,283 as of Monday, June 8, the Ministry of Health announced today.

 

Recoveries reached 1,707, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 74,524, representing 71% of total registered cases.

 

Thirty-four new death cases were reported, while the death toll hit 746.

 

In addition, a total of 746 cases were reported in Riyadh, followed by Jeddah (577), Makkah (376), Dammam (301), Al Hofuf (241), Qatif (224), Al Khobar (180), and Madinah (124).

 

The total active cases currently receiving treatment amounted to 30,010 cases, of which 1,632 are critical.

 

A total of 18,578 tests were conducted today, bringing the total number of tests to 976,820.
