Saudi Arabia records 3,733 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday

Saudi Arabia recorded 3,733 new COVID-19 cases today, June 11, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 116,021, the Ministry of Health said.

 

Recoveries reached 2,065, raising the total number of recovered cases to 80,019 (69% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported 38 new deaths, raising the death toll to 857.

 

Active cases totaled 35,145, of which 1,738 cases are critical.

 

Riyadh had the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 1,431, followed by Jeddah (294), Makkah (293), Dammam (214), Hufuf (206) and Khobar (100).

 

The Kingdom concluded 22,500 new tests, bringing up the total number of laboratory tests to 1.04.
