Saudi Arabia records 4,507 new COVID-19 cases on Monday

The total number of coronavirus cases in Saudi Arabia increased by 4,507 to 132,048 as of Monday, June 15, the Ministry of Health announced today.

 

Recoveries reached 3,170, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 87,890, representing 67% of total registered cases.

 

Thirty nine new death cases were reported, while the death toll hit 1,011.

 

The total number of active cases currently receiving treatment reached 43,147, of which 1,897 are critical.

 

Meanwhile, a total of 1,658 cases were reported in Riyadh, followed by Jeddah (413), Makkah (389), Dammam (270), Al Hofuf (205), Qatif (183), Taif (130), and Madinah (125).

 

A total of 20,255 tests were conducted today, bringing the total number of tests to 1.13 million.
