Saudi Arabia records 3,123 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday

The total number of coronavirus cases in Saudi Arabia increased by 3,123 to 167,267 as of Wednesday, June 24, the Ministry of Health announced today.

 

Recoveries reached 2,912, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 112,797, representing 67% of total registered cases.

 

Forty-one new death cases were reported, while the death toll hit 1,387.

 

In addition, a total of 343 cases were reported in Hofuf, followed by Dammam (286), Taif (284), Makkah (278), Riyadh (225), and Jeddah (214).

 

The total active cases currently receiving treatment amounted to 53,083 cases, of which 2,129 are critical.

 

A total of 34,511 tests were conducted today, bringing the total number of tests to 1.38 million.
