Saudi Arabia records 3,392 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday

The total number of coronavirus cases in Saudi Arabia increased by 3,392 to 217,108 as of Tuesday, July 7, the Ministry of Health announced today.

 

Recoveries reached 5,205, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 154,839, representing 71% of total registered cases.

 

Forty-nine new death cases were reported, while the death toll hit 2,017.

 

The total active cases currently receiving treatment amounted to 60,252 cases, of which 2,268 are critical.

 

In addition, a total of 308 cases were reported in Riyadh, followed by Taif (246), Madinah (232), Jeddah (227), and Dammam (219).

 

A total of 60,064 tests were conducted today, bringing the total number of tests to 1.97 million.
