Saudi Arabia records 2,671 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday

The total number of coronavirus cases in Saudi Arabia increased by 2,671 to 240,474 as of Wednesday, July 15, the Ministry of Health announced today.

 

Recoveries reached 5,488, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 183,048, representing 76% of total registered cases.

 

Forty-two new death cases were reported, while the death toll hit 2,325.

 

The total active cases currently receiving treatment amounted to 55,101 cases, of which 2,325 are critical.

 

In addition, a total of 250 cases were reported in Jeddah, followed by Riyadh (226), Al Hufof (211), Al Mubarraz (174), and Dammam (144).

 

A total of 59,010 tests were conducted today, bringing the total number of tests to 2.44 million.
