Saudi Arabia records 2,504 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday

The total number of coronavirus cases in Saudi Arabia increased by 2,504 to 250,920 as of Sunday, July 19, the Ministry of Health announced today.

 

Recoveries reached 3,517, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 197,735, representing 79% of total registered cases.

 

Thirty-nine new death cases were reported, while the death toll hit 2,486.

 

The total active cases currently receiving treatment amounted to 50,699 cases, of which 2,180 are critical.

 

In addition, a total of 178 cases were reported in Riyadh, followed Jeddah (177), Al Hufof (163), Makkah (144), and Al Mubarraz (125).

 

A total of 48,140 tests were conducted today, bringing the total number of tests to 2.67 million.
