Saudi Arabia records 2,429 new COVID-19 cases on Monday

The total number of coronavirus cases in Saudi Arabia increased by 2,429 to 253,349 as of Monday, July 20, the Ministry of Health announced today.

 

Recoveries reached 5,524, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 203,259, representing 80% of total registered cases.

 

Thirty-seven new death cases were reported, while the death toll hit 2,523.

 

The total active cases currently receiving treatment amounted to 47,567 cases, of which 2,196 are critical.

 

In addition, a total of 254 cases were reported in Jeddah, Al Hufof (195), Riyadh (169), Taif (122), and Makkah (116).

 

A total of 57,498 tests were conducted today, bringing the total number of tests to 2.73 million.
