Saudi Arabia records 2,476 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday

The total number of coronavirus cases in Saudi Arabia increased by 2,476 to 255,825 as of Tuesday, July 21, the Ministry of Health announced today.

 

Recoveries reached 4,000, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 207,259, representing 81% of total registered cases.

 

Thirty-four new death cases were reported, while the death toll hit 2,557.

 

The total active cases currently receiving treatment amounted to 46,009 cases, of which 2,184 are critical.

 

In addition, a total of 284 cases were reported in Jeddah, Riyadh (158), Taif (143), Makkah (107), and Al Hufof (105).

 

A total of 56,450 tests were conducted today, bringing the total number of tests to 2.8 million.
