Saudi Arabia records 2,238 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday

The total number of coronavirus cases in Saudi Arabia increased by 2,238 to 260,394 as of Thursday, July 23, the Ministry of Health announced today.

 

Recoveries reached 3,092, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 213,490, representing 82% of total registered cases.

 

Thirty-four new death cases were reported, while the death toll hit 2,635.

 

The total active cases currently receiving treatment amounted to 44,269 cases, of which 2,170 are critical.

 

In addition, a total of 147 cases were reported in Al Hufof, Riyadh (143), Al Mubarraz (129), and Makkah (119).

 

A total of 57,372 tests were conducted today, bringing the total number of tests to 2.9 million.
