Saudi Arabia records 1,759 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday

The total number of coronavirus cases in Saudi Arabia increased by 1,759 to 272,590 on Wednesday, July 29, the Ministry of Health announced today.

 

Recoveries reached 2,945, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 228,569, representing 84% of total registered cases.

 

Twenty-seven new death cases were reported, while the death toll hit 2,816.

 

The total active cases currently receiving treatment amounted to 41,205 cases, of which 2,063 are critical.

 

In addition, a total of 160 cases were reported in Al Hufof, Makkah (122), Riyadh (108), and Madinah (83).
