Saudi Arabia records 1,258 new COVID-19 cases on Monday

The total number of coronavirus cases in Saudi Arabia increased by 1,258 to 280,093 on Monday, August 3, the Ministry of Health announced today.

 

Recoveries reached 1,972, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 242,053, representing 86% of total registered cases.

 

Thirty-two new death cases were reported, while the death toll hit 2,949.

 

The total active cases currently receiving treatment amounted to 35,091 cases, of which 2,017 are critical.

 

In addition, a total of 89 cases were reported in Riyadh, Al Hufof (75), Dammam (65), and Makkah (54).
