Saudi Arabia recorded 1,569 new COVID-19 cases today, Aug. 12 bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 293,037, the Ministry of Health said.
Recoveries reached 2,151, raising the total number of recovered cases to 257,269 (88% of total COVID-19 cases).
The Kingdom reported 16 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 3,269.
Active cases totaled 32,499, of which 1,826 cases are critical.
Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 78, followed by Hail (75), Makkah (68), Jeddah (66), Madinah (60) and Khamis Mushait (57 each).
The Kingdom conducted 67,676 new tests, bringing up the total number of tests to 4 million.
