Salama unable to disclose H1 2020 financials on time

Salama Cooperative Insurance Co. announced its inability to publish H1 2020 financial results on time.

 

The company said in a statement on Tadawul that this is due to the delay in obtaining the regulatory approvals, adding the results will be announced once regulatory approvals are received.

 

Trading suspension might be applied according to the listing rules announced on March 25, 2019, it noted.

 

Earlier in the day, Tadawul suspended trading of Salama’s shares today for one trading session, due to the insurer’s failure to disclose its financial statements for Q2 2020 on time.
