Saudi Arabia records 768 new COVID-19 cases on Monday

Saudi Arabia recorded 768 new COVID-19 cases today, Sept. 7, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 321,456, the Ministry of Health said.

 

Recoveries reached 886, raising the total number of recovered cases to 297,623 (92.6% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported 26 new deaths, with the death toll at 4,107.

 

Active cases totaled 19,726, of which 1,430 cases are critical.

 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 67, followed by Jeddah (57), Madinah (50), and Hufuf and Riyadh with 46 cases each.

 

The Kingdom conducted 44,171 new tests, bringing up the total number of tests to 5.45 million.
