Saudi Arabia records 492 new COVID-19 cases on Monday

Saudi Arabia recorded 492 new COVID-19 cases today, Sept. 21, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 330,246, the Ministry of Health said.

 

Recoveries reached 1,060, raising the total number of recovered cases to 311,499 (94% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported 27 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 4,512.

 

Active cases totaled 14,235, of which 1,133 cases are critical.

 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 58, followed by Jeddah (53), Madinah (38), and Riyadh with 32.

 

The Kingdom conducted 43,652 new tests, bringing up the total number of tests to 6.09 million.
