Saudi Arabia records 552 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 552 new COVID-19 cases today, Sept. 22, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 330,798, the Ministry of Health said.

 

Recoveries reached 1,185, raising the total number of recovered cases to 312,684. 

 

The Kingdom reported 30 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 4,542.  

 

Active cases totaled 13,572, of which 1,121 cases are critical.  

 

Jeddah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 66, followed by Makkah (53), Hufuf (42), as well as Madinah and Riyadh with 33 each. 

 

The Kingdom conducted 48,367 new tests, bringing up the total number of tests to 6.14 million.
