Al-Samaani Factory appoints board, audit committee members

Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries Co.’s board of directors approved today, Sept. 22, the appointment of Omar bin Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Zabin as a new board member, replacing Saad Al Shammari.

The company added in a statement on Tadawul, Al Zabin will act as an independent member as of the board’s approval date until Sept. 15, 2021.

Al Zabin holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and a masters’ degree in business administration. He has an extensive experience in developing multiple sectors; industrial, logistical, and real estate. he is a board member of a number of companies.

In a separate statement, the company stated that its board of directors ratified to appoint Azzam bin Omar bin Abdul Rahman Al Mufdi as a new audit committee member, replacing Saad Al Shammari.

Al Mufdi’s term will commence from the board’s approval date until Sept. 15, 2021.

The above-mentioned decisions are pending approval from the general assembly, the company noted.
