Saudi Arabia records new 468 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday

Saudi Arabia recorded new 468 COVID-19 cases today, Oct. 7, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 33,771, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 596, raising the total number of recovered cases to 323,208 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported new 24 deaths, with the death toll standing at 4,947.

 

Active cases totaled 9,556, of which 913 cases are critical.

 

Madinah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 71, followed by Makkah (53), Yanbu (31), Al Hofuf (29) and Riyadh (25).

 

The Kingdom conducted new 52,184 tests, bringing up the total number of tests to 6.83 million.
