G20 finance ministers, central bank governors to meet virtually on Oct. 14

G20 finance ministers and central bank governors will hold an online meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 14 under the Saudi G20 presidency to discuss global economic development, as well as possible downside risks and policy responses to protect the economy against it.  


They will also discuss updates to the G20 Action Plan, along with the progress made with the G20 Debt Service Suspension Initiative (DSSI) and its extension through 2021. 

 

The meeting will be co-chaired by Mohammed Al-Jadaan, Saudi Minister of Finance and acting Minister of Economy and Planning, and Ahmed Alkholifey, Governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA).
