Saudi Arabia records 401 COVID-19 cases on Thursday

Saudi Arabia recorded 401 COVID-19 cases today, Oct. 22, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 343,774, the Ministry of Health said.

 

Recoveries reached 466, raising the total number of recovered cases to 330,181 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported 15 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 5,250.

 

Active cases totaled 8,343, of which 791 cases are critical.

 

Madinah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 55, followed by Riyadh (39), Makkah (35), Yanbu (24), and Al Hofuf (17).

 

The Kingdom conducted 53,523 new tests, bringing up the total number of tests to 7.56 million.
