Saudi Arabia has above 9,500 factories: Ministry

Saudi Arabia is home to 9,563 factories with an aggregate capital of SAR 1.086 trillion, said the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources (MIMR).

 

These factories contribute to the achievement of comprehensive industrial development, as they play a key role in the progress of the industrial sector and attraction of lucrative investments that help bring the national vision to reality.


Riyadh dominated 40.4% of total factories, followed by Eastern Province (21.9%), then Makkah (18.9%), according to the ministry’s data.
