Saudi Arabia to reopen airspace, land and sea borders to Qatar: Kuwait foreign minister

Saudi Arabia will open its airspace as well as land and sea borders to Qatar starting Monday, Jan. 4, 2021, according to Kuwait's Foreign Minister, Sheikh Ahmad Nasser Al-Sabah said.

 

Kuwait's Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah contacted Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to sign the statement for the GCC Summit.

 

Both parties have agreed to handle all relevant issues, Al-Sabah added.

 

According to data compiled by Argaam, Crown Prince said the Kingdom’s policy is based on solid foundations that aim to achieve the best interest of GCC and Arab countries.
