Basic Chemical Industries Co.’s (BCI) board of directors appointed Abdullatif Abdulhadi as acting chief executive officer, according to a bourse statement today, Jan. 28.
The decision came during a board meeting held on Jan. 27, 2021.
Abdulhadi currently is a member of BCI board of directors. He holds a bachelor of science from the University of Central Florida and also held many executive and leadership positions in major companies, the statement said.
Earlier this month, BCI accepted the resignation of CEO Osama Farouk Abdulhamid, effective Jan. 20, 2021, Argaam reported.
