SABIC Agri-Nutrients names Fahad Al Battar as new president

SABIC Agri-Nutrients Co.'s board of directors approved today, March 18, 2021, the appointment of Fahad bin Mesfer Al Battar as the new president, starting May 1, 2021, according to a bourse filing.

He replaces Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Jabr, who will join Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC) in a leadership position.

Al Battar holds an executive master's degree in business administration and bachelor’s degree in chemistry from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals. He has vast experience in the industrial field and held several leading positions at SABIC, the last of which was as president of Eastern Petrochemical Co. (Sharq).
