Saudi Arabia records 590 COVID-19 cases on Thursday

Saudi Arabia recorded 590 COVID-19 cases today, April 1, 2021, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 390,597, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 386, raising the total number of recovered cases to 378,469 (97% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported seven new deaths, with the death toll standing at 6,676.

 

Active cases totaled 5,452, of which 699 cases are critical.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 238, followed by Makkah (111), Eastern Province (84), Madinah (34) and Northern Region (30).

 

The Kingdom conducted 58,199 new tests, bringing up the total number to 15.18 million.  

 

More than 4.49 million doses have been administered to people in the Kingdom to date.
