Mouwasat starts pilot operation of Dammam hospital expansion project

Mouwasat Medical Services Co. commenced on April 5, 2021, the pilot operation of the expansion project for Mouwasat Hospital in Dammam by conducting necessary tests for the construction and medical systems.

 

The company said in a bourse statement that the tests will last 12 weeks, adding that the project's completion percentage reached 96%.

 

The trial operation is expected to end in the beginning of the third quarter of 2021.

 

Mouwasat will announce the actual start-up date and the relevant financial impact after obtaining the necessary final approvals from the Ministry of Health.

 

In December 2017, the medical services provider signed a construction contract worth SAR 205 million with Project Build Co. Ltd. (PBC) to build its new branch in Madinah.
