Advanced Petrochemical Co. announced today, April 11, 2021, that operations at its polypropylene plant resumed as of March 28, 2021, and operations at its propylene plant restarted as of April 11, 2021, after the completion of scheduled maintenance works, according to a bourse filing.

The maintenance works were implemented in line with the occupational safety and health standards, despite the COVID-19 outbreak.

There is no significant change in the costs associated with the maintenance activities, the statement added.

The relevant financial impact will likely appear on financial statements of the first two quarters of 2021, based on expected prices of feedstock and polypropylene.

Last month, Advanced said it would shut down its propylene and polypropylene plants for scheduled maintenance works as of March 11, 2021, Argaam reported.
