Saudi Cable reaccredited to manufacture, market high-voltage cables

Saudi Cable Co. announced the completion of qualitative tests related to the manufacturing and marketing of the high voltage cable of 132 kV, 2500 mm², in line with the latest international standards of IEC 60840:2020, in addition to the technical specifications set by National Grid Co., according to a bourse filing.

 

Saudi Cable was requalified and reaccredited for the production, manufacture and supply of high voltage cables for power projects of National Grid Co.

 

The high-voltage cable system was tested at the International laboratories of CESI Group in Germany, under direct supervision of the Belgian firm SGS as a third party.

 

The step was meant to boost the company’s business, in addition to opening new markets locally and overseas, the statement added.
