Saudi Arabia records 1,201 COVID-19 cases on Friday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,201 COVID-19 cases today, June 4, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 455,418, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,322, raising the total number of recovered cases to 438,206 (96% of total COVID-19 cases). 

 

The Kingdom reported 16 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,424.

 

Active cases totaled 9,788, of which 1,528 cases are critical. 

 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 370, followed by Riyadh (294), Eastern Province (167), Madinah (92) and Asir (76).
 

The Kingdom conducted 96,400 new tests, bringing up the total number to 19.60 million.

 

More than 14.70 million doses have been administered to people in the Kingdom to date.
