The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) will allow full passenger seating capacity on domestic flights, starting Sept. 1.
This is in coordination with the Ministry of Health and based on a condition of the immunization of all passengers with two doses of COVID-19 vaccine.
Exemption from this condition will apply for groups that are not obligated to take the vaccine such as children under the age of 12 years or those exempted by the Ministry of Health or the Saudi Public Health Authority (Weqaya) from taking vaccine on medical grounds.
The authority stressed the importance of continuing to comply with all preventive measures as per the domestic and international aviation protocols issued by Weqaya and wearing masks.
