Saudi Arabia plans to access different financial markets at reasonable and affordable prices in the medium-term, after it was very limited due to challenges and obstacles, said Hani AlMedaini, acting CEO of the National Debt Management Center.

In his speech during the Financial Sector Conference, AlMedaini said digital transformation allowed the Kingdom to reach a reasonable level in terms of investments.

Saudi Arabia is following other countries in terms of technological, environmental, and social development, the top official said.

For this, technological transformation and readiness are necessary, he added.

AlMedaini further said the Kingdom is making a strategic transformation and setting specialized governance standards. He expects the country to start using different renewable energy means by 2022, including financing plans.
